MISTX COO and TMARA President Mike Marshall Testifies in Support of House Bill 605
April 16, 2021
On April 16, 2021, Representative Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, contacted Mold Inspection Sciences Texas’ COO and The Texas Mold Assessors and Remediators Association (TMARA) President Mike Marshall, requesting a testimony for the April 20th public hearing in favor of House Bill 605, which adopts a healthy and safe school water plan in public schools to test for copper and lead. Roughly 25,000 schools across the state have not undergone water inspections, and this bill addresses the concern by requiring each school district to adopt a plan.
Testifying during this hearing has been another opportunity to demonstrate Mike’s leadership, industry expertise, and advocacy for every community across the state of Texas. Education and taking action are among top priorities for all of us to build and support our industry while protecting consumers.
